Elegant set of four plates
Set of four handmade earthenware plates. The plates have a raised pattern along the rims, are foodsafe and made of terra cotta clay.
Partly glazed, unglazed parts are sealed with a foodsafe, repellent coating. Please understand that, due to the glaze that is thicker and covers only a part of the plates, the plates can be a bit unbalanced when they’re stacked.
Sizes from the largest to the smallest plate:
∅ circa 11 inch | 28 cm
∅ circa 9.5 inch | 24 cm
∅ circa 7.1 inch | 18 cm
∅ circa 5.5 inch | 14 cm
Colours may vary.
Not suitable for oven or microwave and it will last the longest if you handwash it soon after use. Please do not use aggresive cleaning agents.
Made out of clay slabs with the help of several molds that I made. The designs are derived, with permission, from the collection of the Dutch National museum.
