Rustic luncheon plate
Handmade, earthenware plate with a raised pattern along the edge. Partly glazed, unglazed parts are sealed with a foodsafe coating.
All my pieces are handmade and therefore unique. You’ll recieve the item on the photo, a unique piece for your elegant tablescapes.
Dark brown and off-white on terra cotta partly with a white glaze

Foodsafe water and oil resistant coating on the unglazed parts
Not suitable for oven or microwave
Will last the longest if you wash them by hand after use
Actual colors may vary from the colors on your screen
The underside is terra cotta often with some traces of engobe. Brown and white pieces have a white or brown and white colored terra cotta underside. Sometimes the underside shows some small cracks along the edge of the middel circle. Those are consequences of the making process and do not effect the sturdiness of the plate. Examples are shown on photo 2.
My pieces are handmade and therefore have imperfections.
Please note that some people find it uncomfortable to use cutlery in combination with unglazed ceramics.
